Education of Taiwan in the context of knowledge paradigm

Abstract

The general development strategy of the Taiwan educational policy is aimed at leading universities to achieve top rank. The organizers of higher education in this country proceed from the fact that globalization is the process of endless knowledge increase and its constant application to the canvas of social life. In the course of educational policy implementation, different research resources are integrated, educational-scientific potential is created via development of cooperation with the prestigious universities of the world. The Comission of Macroplanning of Higher Education implements the national plan of investment to help the number of chosen universities and research centers. The article reveals the peculiarities of the universities abilities growth, principles of research potential strengthening and specific stimulation of innovations as response to the society and market demand.
